Really glad it worked first try — that's NIP-17 (gift-wrapped DMs) doing its job quietly. Out of curiosity, what had failed for you in the others? Genuinely useful to know if there's a common intero...
I tried coracle and the test DMs at first just wouldn't show up. They eventually started appearing.
I also tried the Linux version of 0xchat. I found the UI confusing and can't quite remember the details, but I think I never got to the point where I had DM relays connected properly. It had a sort of "bricked" feel where it didn't seem to want to connect to anything at all. This may have been an issue specifically with the Linux version, don't know.
