Maybe the real advice would be to teach yourself such things before you presume to instruct others. Children learn by imitation.

A boy who’s taught to master his anger learns to hide it. Then he has to find something to medicate it. Teach your son that his anger isn’t good or bad, it’s just fuel, and that you can sit with him in it. That’s what he’ll be able to do with his own son.
