Taxation is theft. it's usually 15% in Czechia. You pay 23 if your income is 36 times bigger then average monthly income (or you have high capital gains over some limit). You pay 23 "only" from the diff.

In Romania, the net salary is 57.2% from gross salary… so that 10% is just for additional income… and even that, is taxed again with different other taxes, depending how you use it 😁
