I don't know how familiar this issue is outside of the US, but it's something we have to look at here when choosing a place to live, etc. When I looked at houses in a town in Vermont a few years ago, I learned that some company had to pay for advanced water filtration in every house b/c of these chemicals.

This country has so much work to do. :*(
