I am cool with this guy, he’s using the tools he has at his disposal (billion dollar public company) to buy as much bitcoin as possible with convertible notes.

He probably found the infinity money glitch. He is playing with a broken system and doing a speculative attack on the dollar. Sounds cool yea…

But he’s not creator, a rockstar or a hero to worship like many bitcoiners do. I don’t get why people treat him like that.

Saylor has been around for less than 33% of the time that bitcoin has been around. He arrived at a time that Bitcoin was mature and was really easy to see the value. Many of us were here before him.

There’s so many people out there that did multiple times more significant things for Bitcoin and almost nobody knows them. They probably deserve more respect from Bitcoiners than Saylor because they built the foundation.

This is one of the things of Bitcoin going mainstream, the masses need a hero, they need someone to worship. But Bitcoin is here to empower individuals, not corporations and governments.

It is so sad to see how many people get confused and cannot see where is Bitcoin coming from and why it was created to do in the first place because of the actual state of things.

This does not mean that it will not continue doing all this things. But I don’t think this kind of people are helping bitcoin in any sustancial sense.

Idk I just wanted to say what I think.

What do you think?

I think what is better for Bitcoin is mass adoption by regular people. The big corporations and governments adopting it will concentrate the wealth into a few organizations and it won’t spread to everyone.

🕯️ The Spotlight and the Shadows: Saylor isn’t Satoshi. He’s a businessman who found a winning play in a broken system: converting dying dollars into Bitcoin. Clever? Yes. Heroic? No. Bitcoin’s true magic lives elsewhere: - In the dev coding night fixes for vulnerabilities. - In the...

I notice people forget that before Saylor repackaged his pitch to attract institutions, he went on a countless number of podcasts with a message aimed at helping individuals understand Bitcoin and money in general. I was still trading shitcoins in 2021 when something Saylor said led me towards BTC m...

Saylor will continue to pander to the other suits, and whales will continue to do whale things. Wish more companies just did this if they want a BTC treasury. Better for bitcoin adoption overall and more organic.. https://image.nostr.build/78c75b3c5c9fc2805da937b463e3fcdce77198e96e54004015124a5b9c...

As bitcoin creates more and more millionaires, bitcoin will become the most important issue. They will build it. We are still on the path. It's just gonna get bumpy.

Completely agree. After he spoke you should have seen how many people left and totally missed Ross! I was like what is wrong with the people. They are just NGU and that is it. Sad since Bitcoin can be and is so much more powerful than just money. Saylor said hit himself in the speak, money is a mean...

In the history of inventions, the person who popularizes, commercializes, or tells the best story about an invention often gets more credit than the original creator. Saylor will keep catering to the elites, corporations, governments, and politicians. This is good for Bitcoin's continued adoption. ...
