i just dont see how pro AI people can see an end state that isnt the end of humanity or least a 99% reduction in population. It seems wildly naive to assume that the gov will protect them or that the new aristocracy will share anything with them.

It's incredible to see. I guess people think that "prompt engineering" is going to be a viable career path well into the future, which is laughable. Once physical robots are up and running, connected to LLMs, and able to do generalized tasks, it's game over.
