I believe they disarmed him BEFORE he was shot, but the controversy is over whether all the officers were aware of the fact when the shooting occurred (I doubt they were) and also whether the officer who retrieved the gun had actually fired a negligent discharge in that moment (or maybe P320 failure caused a discharge?). I wasn't fully convinced by the one video frame of alleged "muzzle flash", but the audio was consistent with unintended discharge causing the shoot. @nprofile1q... @nprofile1q...
