Most 'beginner' puzzles can be solved using logic and the lessons that can be learnt online or by asking more knowledgeable friends
The 'Intermediate' puzzles can be solved by the above plus patience and a little intuition
The 'Expert' ones - well, only get so far and then is just guesswork unless you have a PhD in theoretical mathematics
