I can’t WAIT to visit my kids’ places one day when they are out in the world. Ima fuck shit up lol.
- empty food containers placed back on the shelf or back in the fridge
- empty TP rolls
- days washed 2x overfilled laundry loads slowing them down when they need the machine
- days dried 2x overfilled laundry loads crammed wrinkled into the basket rather than community folded like civilized humans do for one another
- kitchen waste thrown into the back of the waste cupboard rather than in the bin
- every utensil in the kitchen crammed into the closest divider in the dishwasher
- dishes upside down in the dishwasher to fill up with wash water
- every food container lid cross threaded or gently placed atop the container
If parents’ main job is to train out behaviours in their kids that make others not like them, then I guess we have failed lol. Oh right, we weren’t there to teach them because we did nothing but work double shifts much of the time and came home exhausted and pissed off most nights. They’ll figure it out when they go through 3-4 flat mates. I finally gave up in the face of a decade and a half of providing gentle, then not so gentle reminders, then decided to chill out on every little thing. But they have “good hearts” ❤️ 🙄 🤦♂️
