Just an observation based on my own experience.

When a person starts healing after living in survival mode they develop a deep desire for honesty and authenticity.

At least I did.

They’ve had to fight to think clearly again and to remember who they truly are.

At least I did.

It comes at a cost let me be clear.

A heavy one if I’m honest.

And once you’ve paid that price…

you stop engaging with people who refuse to respect it.

At least I do.
