This looks like a potential attempt at a new age "Evangelion" and co. (Texhnolyze, Lain, Ergo Proxy, you know the type) shows from the era, with social commentary and everything. Basically everything that attempted this since has utterly failed to be good in any capacity whatsoever

But this sure was eye catching and had an insane budget. The big question is if it's going to completely crash out like the rest of 'em
