As time goes by, I find myself more and more interested in people that use Bitcoin and Nostr as practical tools for freedom, and not at all interested in people that roll up their entire identity in “being a bitcoiner or nostr user.” Anyone else?

Yesssss. Using them for identity is like identifying with your awesome car, or even beautiful nature. Nature is wonderful … but as an identity? It’s shallow and not fulfilling. We will never find our identity in these cool things.
