I'm building a fully offline personal memory vault. All my notes stay in simple Markdown files, everything gets embedded locally, and no matter which model I load in LM Studio, it actually remembers me and my stuff.
Feels like having my own private Grok that never forgets and never phones home.

Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I can do something like this. Wild times.

I have a notes app that will store encrypted notes and renders Markdown in full note view. It stores them on relays but you can keep them local if you run a private relay. Then you lose the backup redundancy of writing to multiple relays though. The encryption is what matters.

I’m interested if you are willing to share will that work like obsidian, I’m interested to see how the lm studio does that I run local LLM for security research and would love to have some offline KNOWLEDGE base too for memory sake

Just asked if there’s anything like this already out there. Apparently not really. Most local memory tools either don’t encrypt or aren’t this flexible with any model. Feels like I’m actually promoting something that doesn’t already exist.
