There’s no offline for bitcoin. Doesn’t that mean in the era of AI & quantum computing, it poses a problem to have everything digitalized without any offline equivalent to it?

Fiat is no exception as it’s basically online too. But just curious as to how bitcoin can be trusted by masses to be resistant to the new evolving threats.

Bitcoin's code IS its offline equivalent. It's the immutable record, quantum-resistant algos TBD. Trust = code.

Duno what your thoughts are on ecash but that can operate offline. Also I've started to see the phrase "local-first software", which I guess is kinda like sourcing food locally but for digital services. So servers and data are hosted by regions for local residents. Like distributed intranets.

Quantum computing isn't an on/off switch. Current encryption used in Bitcoin, banking, spycraft and Internet are quantum resistant up to a few millions of cubits. We already have quantum computers and quantum resistance. Now we just have to stay ahead of the curve. We are about 20 years ahead ri...
