Given the situation in Gaza there is a lot of talk about anti-semitism and a lot of accusations. As for myself, I'm far too refined to extend my "anti-" across all semites. I'm too refined to extend my "anti-" against all the Jews. I'm too refined to extend my "anti-" across all the Zionists. I am anti-revisionist-ZIonism. But I don't even have to single out that group because I also happen to be anti-asshole, and all revisionist Zionists are assholes. So it is more parsimonious for me to just say that I am "anti-asshole." But as a retort to being accused of being an anti-semite, saying "No, I'm not an anti-semite, I'm an anti-asshole", I tend to be misunderstood. 😅
