Hot take: I am skeptical of the Soft War thesis. Bitcoin is just a claim on PoW done in the past and it is only as strong as the ability to protect the private keys assigned to past PoW units.

From that point forward it's just cryptography decoupled from the PoW used to create new units. Nothing new. IMO it can make bitcoiners look bad if they don't actually contend with that fact and just parrot these talking points without critical analysis simply because Orange Coin Good.
