I set mine to bimodal, haven't gotten a chance to see if it improved path finding in any way.

I've used it for a few weeks now since the early rc's. I have a good experience with it so far, getting succes with some really long routes when rebalancing. Haven't tweaked it's parameters yet but will try it soon.
