When I was a kid my Dad's old Thunderbird blew a belt leaving us on the highway. A guy pulled over and drove all the way to a parts store and back, over an hour and hungout while my Dad got it on.

My Dad bought him a six pack of beer as that was clearly the unspoken rule of how you pay another man for doing you a favor.

Simpler times.

Remember when adults had consistent free time. Man those were the days. A true measurement of wealth is free time or time for leisure. Also known as independence.
