A while back I was bummed that I took the easy way out and made these little endcaps for marble tracks (screenshot) individual pieces instead of having a toggle or even automatism. But now I am happy I went the lazy route cause I just had the idea for a bumper endcap, making marbles bounce back.

One of the few times in my life where laziness gets rewarded. :D

And yes, sure, having different endcap types could still work with toggles or even partial automatism. But with more and more ways to use and combine pieces in the game, logic driven building doesn't just become exponentially harder, but also more limiting.
