Thanks, I don't disagree with any of this, in fact I found myself in this exact scenario: I don't have Wisp installed and was looking to install it to try it.
But when I searched, all I found was the April Fool's version rather than the official one. So if you were a new user, all you would've found would been that "fake" version.
I've just tried again and I think since you cleared that up, it's now returning the official one again in the search results.
The github being different definitely rang alarm bells for me, but you have to already be aware of an author's github username/official repo.
These aren't easy problems to solve, but hopefully something that can be improved over time by way of visual warnings/flags/etc, when strange apps pop up like that! From memory there used to be some way to view something like a WOT for the app/publisher? I didn't see it just now on Wisp, but I recall something like that in past zapstore versions... that would also be very handy to make more prominent on the main app listing page.
