I don't think any of us were lead astray. What we learned today is that bitcoin is no longer different than the USD or any other fiat currency.
The miners showed the world that individual node runners don't matter. I am glad I have a definitive answer that bitcoin is no different than fiat. People who don't understand Austrian economics or the principles of sound money have taken over. Its fine. It just creates new demand for a sound money. We learned today that there are no truly stateless monies alive in 2026. That is great information.
