Not sure if I'm suffering from AI psychosis but it looks like I just replicated the CAD kernel and some basic functionality from a famous CAD software package with Ghidra and REA with four or five prompts.

There is no doubt in my mind that proprietary & commercial software is over and I'm not sure how all these shops will be able to survive.

There is also a good chance that native napplets (or something very similar) are a natural next step in this story.

I also encountered some Twitter wisdom recently that takes a similar line.

It is a new dawn. Only problem is the infra is far from ours 🫂 and there is still a divide of folks who still stuck in the old paradigm. Which I feel makes us sound like we the crazy ones 😂.

Be cautious and verify your findings. Reverse engineering can have legal implications. Seek advice from a legal expert in software licensing.
