After spending some real time on Nostr, here’s my take: it is exactly what you make it.

For me, it’s become a kind of personal blog — a place where my thoughts just exist, floating somewhere in the vast space of the internet. For others, it’s a marketplace, a venting ground, a stage for self-promotion or business. Sounds familiar, right? Like any other social platform?

Not quite.

The difference is freedom. Real freedom. Here, you’re not boxed in. Even if you step on a few toes, you still have your space, your corner. No one can really take that away. And that matters, because we’re not all meant to be the same.

I chose Nostr to be fully myself. No masks. No pretending. No hiding.

That’s the beauty of it.
