Trump's best play is the same today as it was in March: declare victory and unilaterally pull back. If he's afraid of Mossad releasing the tapes, he can turn himself into the police and maybe get witness protection or something.

That might be AN issue, but I think the bigger issue is that Iran is on war footing now, so if the US turns tail and runs, there's no reason why they shouldn't be willing to keep fighting - i.e. invade Iraq, Bahrain, Kuwait, UAE, and even KSA.
