We have more apps than users
You mean, we have a lot of users who build apps, and they post the most often, as they're testing those apps. Which is not necessarily a bad thing, so long as they don't mind the fact that almost everyone else will continue to use Primal.
You don't have this problem, elsewhere, as every other stack is too centrally-controlled or hard to build on.
But the builders are the most reliable base here. That's why a lot of Nostr feels like Very Early Internet, as it had the same shadowy coder-vibe. Knowing how to use FTP and HTML put me in a tiny subculture, back in the early 90s. Took almost a decade for everyone else to show up, and lots of people I know today can only use WhatsApp and maybe Google Search and Instagram. They can't even figure out how to use email on their phone, even though they needed that to setup the same phone. 🤷♀️
