I watched the expanse once. Seemed kinda cheap to me. I struggled to finish it. Rather give me a spacex livestream of the starship launch twice a year. Probably end of the day the same thing but one is realer then the other. Realife over science fiction any day of the week.

the expanse is orginally a book series read it once, didnt connect but watched the show a bunch watched video version of Duneore than rereads, he is very verbose and goes into descriptive rabbit holes. all that to say books > film adaptation every time
