Right but if you're looking at the society level then the current system of using a 4 year college as certification is completely asinine
Certification could be done much more effectively as testing (over time is fine but again why does itbtake 4 years)
And if you're looking for standardized minimum competency the brand names like Harvard and oxford are way too overbought
A good professor can absolutely help. What I disagree with is the current model. If you have a great professor in 1 school then it should be accessible to a much larger audience than the 200 students in that current class. The social status of education and the filtering needs is partly why its not widely available.
If you change the incentives then tech could drastically lower education prices
