No law or policy is truly enforceable. The MIT license isn't truly enforceable. What you do is you codify your morals and then enforce that to the best of your ability. Mistakes will happen, you'll fix, improve, apologize.

In practice, this might be true, none of it might be better because of a "moral policy" — when you only view the end result.

But it sends the message. It reveals the intent. It puts your heart on your sleeve.
