As October dawns, I've made it through most of the mainline Friday the 13th movies. Jason X will be tonight, then Freddy vs. Jason and the remake this weekend.
But I cannot get over how bad they all are. Only 1 or 2 come anywhere near being enjoyable on any level. They actively seem to reject any attempts to improve the experience of watching them.
How did these things keep making money??? They stayed profitable by keeping budgets low, but they all made at least $14 million! Baffling.
