I never thought that cashu was a good idea. Pretty much the moment I read about mints and federations.

The problem is cashu mints have no reputation backing them. A mint can go from never-rugged-anyone status to rugged-everyone in an instant. Why you want to use cashu? Isn't it a problem with it that those mints can steal funds? Ive never used it but I think Ive read something like this

Did bitcoin cuba mint ever go offline? I think they are the only ones taking this seriously because you kind of need bitcoin there…
