📸 Capturing the Night: Night Light Photography
My sister captured this little moment while I was leaning forward against the post, at the entrance of the Venice Grand Canal Mall over at McKinley Hill, Taguig City, Metro Manila. It was taken last year, the day before we flew back to Cebu, so yeah it’s been sitting in my head ever since.
We got there around 4 PM using GrabCar , and honestly at first the views looked kinda ordinary. Everything was still lit in daylight, no real kind of magic yet , nothing like the way it’s supposed to feel once the night sets in. So we wandered around , taking photos in just about every direction, and somehow every turn became a little memory worth keeping. When we were heading out already, standing around and waiting for our ride, I couldn’t stop myself from staring at the glow of the twinkling lights. I told my sister “one more” and asked her to capture a last shot, with me in it this time.
By that night, it became one of the most memorable things I’ve experienced. Not only because of the place , but also because it was basically a dream I’d been holding for a while— finally visiting the famous Venice Grand Canal Mall, like it was long overdue.
