@nprofile1q... Not a historian, do you have some tips on reading for a lay person? All of Celtic, Norse, and religion are things i'd like to know more about. To my mind "organised religion" is a totally different beast than the old belief-systems. My interest stems part from how language and culture has connections to far-away places, and partly how this is weaponised by demagogues. I find these things fascinating and scary at the same time.
