IMHO: 1. the root cause of the broken society is broken money. 2. Broken money requires fiat speculation with every asset on thr planet to cope with inflation. Food, housing, health, war, and so ...

And I fully agree point 4.....
Small communities are the way to go.

It is needed as a society needs aligned people to function properly, they must adhere the same values and norms.

It will also prevent too big power concentrations that sooner or later attracts the wrong people and too big concentrations makes stopping them almost impossible as we can see right now.

Yes I realize it also will put a huge limit on many of currently available technologies and luxuries.
But I tend to think those are just wants and not needs.
And what can the earth support long term ?

Let's be honest ?
In these modern times the average couple both work, and a lot do more than 40 hours a week each...
And what did it bring us ?

Most of all productivity gains go to the few.
Most jobs are very little satisfying and even less contributing to the local community.

The individualism has made many 'independent' but also most utterly unhappy.

Great aspects! The most auccessful organisms on earth are mushrooms, totally decentralized and symbiotic. We should study decentralized networks and copy them. AI will make old structures obsolete anyway.
