@nprofile1q... I built a shelter over a guys single wide last fall. Repeatedly tried to explain that he HAS TO spring for all-thread, washers, and bolts to attach the band boards to the posts, because deck screws are meant for clamping, and not sheer strength. He never did. I also had to build it with a floating ridge beam and open "trusses", again stressing the need for cross ties to keep the weight from spreading the poles and straining the band boards. Didn't want to buy the lumber.
