I think the primary factor will be the tangible connection between creator and their art/product. If you can keep that human link it will appeal to other humans. There's a quality threshold to overcome, but after that, the human element will the differentiator for many consumers/buyers.

I believe "AI" is going to help us bring in a new age of inspired creativity and innovation. Not from the AI, but as a response. Eventually, when people get sick of consuming slop.
