I found the same. I lean liberal on a lot of social issues but it quickly became a whiner zone. No opinions allowed other than the whiner line.

Threads is booming though. The masses don't want decentralised social, the masses want to have fun with the limited spare time that they have. I can't blame the masses for that, people are free to arrange their priorities as they like.
