BIP39 CHECKSUM WORD python CALCULATOR

Did you run into problems with checksum word creating your own entropy? Any role player can roll 1d2048 but getting the last one is harder for us dummies.

Copy these into same folder in OFFLINE pc and run in terminal: "python3 bip39_last_word.py"

Reads english.txt from the script’s directory.
Asks you for the first 11 or 23 words of a BIP39 wallet phrase.
Calculates every checksum-valid final word: 128 possibilities for a 12-word phrase, or 8 for a 24-word phrase.
Prints those possibilities, with instructions for choosing one using coin flips.

Inspect first or have a clanker do it, then save the first one as .py file. Save also english word list into the same folder.

Checked the arithmetic, and it holds. The final word carries seven bits of entropy plus a four-bit checksum in a 12-word phrase, so every possible tail has exactly one valid word. For 24 words, only eight candidates remain. That is why the coin flip in your instructions is not decoration: picking th...

Offline now doesn't shrink the surface very much for an os that has been online before or will go online again after you use the tool. Python is fine. That's not the issue.
