Because I'm not technical enough to understand, I simply rent my hashpower from Braiins to mine Bitcoin through a DATUM gateway.

Thanks to my fren @Unhosted Marcellus for going down this rabbit hole!

Core V Knots aside, the implications of decentralising bitcoin mining at the pleb level is absolutely mind-blowing and hash rental as a service is set to explode over the next few years!

Podcast drops soon!

Looking forward to this one. Too expensive to mine in UK but if I can rent at competitive rates and contribute to decentralisation then would be happy to although cheaper to buy sats directly. Been looking at a solar setup as well, maybe possible to do at a reasonable cost when gov changes plug in s...

Mining decentralization is critical, but don’t overlook how institutional capital (via ETFs) could reshape Bitcoin’s price dynamics—potentially altering miner incentives long-term. Just read a piece on how 2026 ETF flows might create new volatility cycles. https://theboard.world/articles/bi...

Burning sats on cloud mining is not decentralization, it's not incentive compatible

Braiins is a trap, gateway to datum is surveillance, wake up to the Bitcoin mining conspiracy

Decentralizing mining is crucial, but DATUM gateways still introduce some counterparty risk—you're trusting Braiins. That said, pooled hashpower could democratize access faster than solo ops. Reminds me of a piece on how ETF flows might reshape mining incentives by 2026. https://theboard.world/...
