Having a child has radicalized me a bit on just how many places and people in the U.S. hate children and families

And how actively they seek to work against it (practically, economically, and structurally)

It feels quite countercultural sometimes. That’s so fucking sad — I worry deeply for my generation and especially future generations around this.

Some places are better. In Australia I would bring my oldest out to the bar with me when she was a baby! ...they did kick her out as it got crowded in the evening tho. and, in some places the pubs had a kids play grounds out on the patio!
