Good evening #nostr - long day at the mine but I still found time to sunbathe, dive in the sea and spend time with friends, so all is well.
This evenings #sunset was lovely, but I chose to share this particular shot because the building on the right is one of half a dozen houseboats down here. There's several more across the water in the ketch, on #Hayling.
Houseboats aren't in and of themselves always anything special, but the 6 we've got down here were all adapted from Dunkirk boats. Each one was part of the heroic rescue of 300000 men, comprising most of England's professional army at the time.
Little bit of history, that is.
