Isn't it a good thing that you have the option of recreating the old behavior? Why is it a RIP?

breaks clients and forces them to update their code to restore existing behavior is pretty bad and will make people not want to build on this protocol. including me at this point.

Nip22 makes it far easier to assemble threads, save bandwidth.. So, new clients will just be stoked.. Not sure why this is bad other than, you don't want to implement it...

Yeah it is frustrating but the protocol isn't perfect and I think it's a good thing in the end to change and improve it asap, while it's still new and niche
