Just promote long term
solutions that work permissionlessly, protect privacy and metadata and don't come with a demand to dox you - like SimpleX, Session, Whitenoise, and a few others.

SimpleX already has like 4M downloads. It is the most obvious way forward for now.

i'll still hate them for being centralized, but there will be some level of respect if they drop the KYC requirement

Threema already lets you register with no phone number with a one-time payment.
