Some people can't. Seriously. Especially outside of the US.

I never had a banner until yesterday but now I uploaded a 21mb gif of Goldberg tossing some guy into a golf course pond.

Some people in poorer countries can’t afford it but even if they could, the country they live in doesn’t support the bandwidth they need. It also burns through battery power too.

This is also why I'm on team #knots. Same exact reason.

Some of us live in reality. Treat Nostr like the low bandwidth network that it is. As soon as you leave the city, fast, always connected, internet is a luxury and Nostr usually becomes a painful experience.

Even if I wanted to waste money on an unlimited plan, instead of getting more sats or seeds, it wouldn't make my connection any faster.
