This ColdCard disaster is horrifying on so many levels and you're trying to leverage that as emotional weight behind your crusade.

It's absurd to hold him 100% responsible for the loss of funds - in part because there were others promoting CC, in part because people who followed his full guidelines (for years) rolled their own dice, and mostly because you're not considering at all the benefit of having him - and others - pushing relentless for self-custody.

There were others promoting the Cold Card because he and NVK helped create a "cool kids club" that generated false social proof. NVK is also known to have bullied conferences to not allow other HWW sponsors.
