One of the hides from the highland island cattle project. It turned out real well. I wasn't really planning on doing this, it just sorta happened. I pressured washed both sides real hard in the fall, let dry, than I left it in the shed with about 50 lbs of salt over winter to cure. I took the grinder with a Aggressive wheel to the underside to remove debris and to soften it up. Never tanned a hide before, didn't even research, just fucked around and found out.
