I saw this on topics.cash… joining a membership is completely optional and creators set fees not the platform. Memberships also end at the end of each month so you have to re-up every month.

Curious to understand the benefit of adding a cancel button to membership.

On topics.cash some people just make threads just to play the system and get their revenue, which isn't that big share, with discussions that don't make sense at all. I commented on that and asked the same thing as you.

Thanks for clarifying. I thought memberships were recurring subscriptions, so that's why I suggested a cancel button. Since they expire automatically each month, I understand why it isn't needed.
