It's amazing the number of stupid people that exist in this world. You'd think them doing this (making users create an account) in and of itself would be enough to convince folk to never consider another Microsoft product ever again. If you had faith before in Microsoft's actions (and you shouldn't have) you certainly should after this whether or not they lift this requirement (mandate creating a Microsoft account to use Microsoft Windows).
