On nostr, your reputation is tied to long term keys. The most valuable asset is your credibility and trust among other nodes, which has to be earned over time the old fashioned way: interesting and positive interactions, sharing content, etc.

Credibility shouldn’t be tied to keys and I don’t think it is. I have the same level of credibility under this identity as I would creating a new one if I told everyone that’s my new npub. We want to create an environment where it’s easy to port your credibility to new keys.
