Happy weekend.
Enjoy yourselves, remember, no one is getting out of here alive.
Make the best of your time.
"There’s a poem by James McRae called Instructions Before Visiting Earth that I return to often. It reminds me that this life was never meant to be mastered, perfected, or figured out neatly. We didn’t come here to avoid mess, heartbreak, confusion, or contradiction. We came here to experience them. To feel things deeply. To get it wrong. To forget, and then remember. To fall apart, and then begin again. So many of us move through life thinking we’re failing when things feel hard, heavy, or unclear. But maybe this is the point. Maybe the ache, the longing, the grief, the love, the not knowing are all part of the curriculum. This poem feels like a quiet permission slip. To be human. To soften the grip. To stop demanding certainty from an experience that was never meant to be certain. If you’re in a season of questioning, unraveling, or becoming, this is a gentle reminder: you’re not behind. You’re participating. "
