We crossed the South Dakota border (from Nebraska) and within 30 minutes saw a heard of Bison and three Antelope as we headed into the Black Hills.

I'm hoping to see some big horn sheep and maybe a brown bear.

Custer State Park was an experience my kids will remember. They got to see all three herds of bison. The last bunch was crossing the road as we went through. We also saw a couple antelope and two white tail fawns.
